  10. Does anybody know if it is possible to share a modem connection
  11. with a voice connection on one single telephone line?

  13. Imagine that you have a modem connection active (SLIP/PPP connection or
  14. whatever) then somebody calls you, and instead of getting a busy tone, the
  15. modem/computer should alert that you have an incoming voice call and then
  16. allow you to switch to the voice connection. After the phone call is
  17. finished
  18. you should be able to switch back to your SLIP/PPP connexion.

  20. This is similar to a common service "Call wait" that Telia in Sweden provides
  21. for free. But that handles only two voice connections.
